UFC 330 Islam Makhachev vs Ian Machado Garry

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

It is fight week for UFC 330 as fighters are preparing for weigh-ins and media obligations. The UFC 330 card may not have big names aside from the main event and arguably the co-main event but for the rooted mma fans it is a night of entertaining fights to say the least. But all eyes will be on the main event of the evening.

Islam Makhachev looks to defend his welterweight crown against the well rounded and experienced number two ranked UFC welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry. Ian Garry is coming off two wins against the current number one contender Carlos Prates and former UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad. Ian Garry has had a diverse camp leading up to this fight as he spent time in Georgia working on his wrestling and has brought in a former opponent of Islam Makhachev, Charles Oliveira.

It is no easy task as Islam is tied for the most consecutive wins in UFC history with the legend Anderson Silva. With a win on Saturday night Islam will surpass Silva’s long lasting winning streak in the UFC, which without a doubt will have him in the conversation of the greatest of all time. Islam’s dominance does not only come in grappling but his striking is amongst the best that has ever stepped in the octagon. Out-striking the likes of Dustin Poirier and Alexander Volkanovski, his striking has become a problem for all his opponents that stand in front of him.

Ian will look to use his footwork to stay outside of Makhachev’s strikes and keep a good range of distance for take downs. At 6’3, Ian has to utilize his size, reach and durability all the while staying away from Islam’s left hand. This bout is an orthodox vs southpaw, striker vs grappler and we are almost guaranteed to see a fantastic night of human chess in the cage.

Both fighters are aiming to make history. Both fighters are fighting for legacy and gold. It is a night that will determine who will reign as king of the welterweight division. A night not to be missed.
